The Best Picture Oscar Nominees in Lego →
I think we can all agree that the addition of Legos to Oscar season makes this whole thing a whole lot more awesome.

Taco Bell Sued Over Meat That's Just 35 Percent... →
I consider myself lucky that I rarely crave the deliciousness that Taco Bell offers. I feel bad for all the people out there that have been shoveling this “stuff” into their mouths and lying to themselves that it was actually meat because the ads say so. Most people don’t care as long as they like how it tastes. Apparently, some people are pissed over the “betrayal.”

Pitchfork: The Decemberists Have the Number One... →
I’m surprised to hear this news. I’m a big fan of these guys (going to see them in NYC tonight!) but this is a pretty big feat for a somewhat unknown indie-rock band.

In defense of Jay Cutler - Shutdown Corner - NFL ... →
Cutler’s always had a persona that’s seemed aloof and detached. Perhaps, to some, that makes him unlikable. That’s fine. No one has to like Jay Cutler, and any criticism he gets for playing poorly yesterday is well-deserved. He was a disaster. But to call him a quitter is a completely different thing, and it’s unfair to do it because you don’t like the look on the...

I read this story this morning and I think it’s amazing. What are the chances of something like this could happen? Great story (I smell a book deal!) that’ll definitely brighten your day once you read it.

Sports Fans Are All A Bunch Of Drunks →
This isn’t news to most people who go to games and spend more time tailgating than they do watching the actual game (guilty!) My favorite nugget of information in this article was this: For a typical 180 lb. male. or typical 180 lb. Minnesota female, it takes about three 16-oz. beers to get your BAC that high. Ha! But seriously, no one needed to wast their time/money to...

Your Zodiac Sign May Have Changed →
Astronomers have adjusted the zodiac which would make me a Capricorn instead of an Aquarius. I don’t really follow this stuff, but I’m a bit upset to learn that my whole life is a lie (horroscopily speaking, of course.)

Who is New York's All-Time Greatest Athlete?
There’s a great article about the storied history of New York athletes in New York Magazine.  There are many all-time greats to play here but when you throw all the sports together, it’s surprising to see how prominent our baseball heroes are.  Guys like Patrick Ewing, Broadway Joe and Lawrence Taylor don’t seem to compare with the likes of Derek Jeter, Lou Gehrig, Willie Mays...

– -Unsilient Majority This is from KSK’s “Hater’s Guide to the Postseason: Philadelphia Edition” I couldn’t agree more.  As much fun as it is to root for Mike Vick this year, you have to remember that if he wins the Super Bowl, the whole city of Philadelphia will be...

The Worst Butt Dialing Fiasco Ever →
Stop me if you’ve heard this one before…A man accidentally called his wife (butt-dialed her.)  His wife somehow thought he was being taken hostage so she called 911.  This led to 30 armed SWAT officers and 3 news helicopters to descend upon the school where the man worked.  But it turns out he was just listening to gangster rap in his car when he accidentally called her. This sounds...

Hater's Guide to the Postseason - NY Jets Edition →
The gang over at KSK are doing a team-by-team breakdown of the 2010 NFL Playoffs…Hater Style!  I especially enjoy their Jets preview because the only thing I dislike more than the current Jets team is the fans that support this band of douchebags. Maybe it’s just me, but I’d take the loudmouth greaseball Jersey retards any day over the bored NYC assholes who are looking for something to...

The End Is Near!
What the hell is going on?  First it was birds, then it was fish, now it’s even more birds just dying by the thousands out there. Thousands of dead birds fall from the sky in Arkansas Thousands of fish found dead (also in Arkansas) 500 dead birds found in Louisiana I wonder what’ll be next… In other news, billions of birds and fish are doing just fine, that is until you eat...

Ross Tucker telling the world that Mike Vick was headed for the UFL has to be the best.  He wasn’t the only one to make this claim, but he couldn’t have been more wrong on this one. Vick will be a starting quarterback again. It just might not be in the NFL. The recent announcement that the upstart UFL will launch a new franchise in Norfolk, Va., in 2011 seems to be a tailor-made...
